1. Overview
Purpose of IATRISM Test is to educate and produce true IATRIST who have philosophy of IATRISM and wide range of knowledge. To meet the public needs, there is an accelerating movement for getting IATRIST institutionalized as a certified qualification.
The following is current examination contents and progress situation. For future updates, we encourage applicants to visit our website because contents are subject to change slightly.
2. Qualification for examination
IATRISM aims for popularizing its concept to many people. In the general meaning, those who have the concept are IATRIST. Qualification for examination of IATRIST Test is to have academic ability of high school level, but there is no other restriction. The test provides all people with potential opportunities.
3. Test category
The IATRIST Test is divided into three major classifications.

- IATRIST Test

- Mock Test for preparing medical examinations
“IATRIST Test Master IATRIST course”is needed to have high-level medical knowledge and a wide range of specialized subject. The content of this course is for people who are passed“IATRIST Test IATRIST course”, students in medical college or have a certificate in medical field.
Also “IATRIST Test IATRIST course” is for those who are in charge of beauty/health industries to improve their knowledge and for general people with an interest of medicine to brush up on their knowledge.
“Mock Test for preparing medical examinations”is the same high-level of“IATRIST Test Master IATRIST course”; however, applicants can choose examination subjects (multiple selection is available). Therefore, even though qualification or honor will not be given, the course is suitable as ability assessment for students in a medical college.
4. License
Given qualification or honor by IATRIST Test are divided into four major classifications.
- IATRISM first-class “Master IATRIST”
- IATRIST second-class “Pre Master IATRIST”
- IATRIST third-class“IATRIST”
- Pre IATRIST
IATRISM first-class and IATRIST second-class are given after passing“IATRIST Test Master IATRIST course”, which are categorized score over admission criterion and papers.
IATRIST third-class“IATRIST”and Pre IATRIST with only honor are given after taking or passing “IATRIST Test IATRIST course”, which are categorized over admission criterion and papers.
5. Examination subjects
All courses are conducted by papers of “Basic Medicine”,“Oriental Medicine”, “Specialized subject”. About “IATRIST Test Master IATRIST course”, papers of all specialized subject are needed. Papers of more than one subject are needed for “IATRIST Test IATRIST course” and “Mock Test for preparing medical examinations”. About “Mock Test for preparing medical examinations”are conducted by “Basic Medicine”and“Oriental Medicine”or either subject of two.

- a. Psychology course
- Learn about basic knowledge of Psychology. It is helpful to improve communication skill on various occasions, know about self-judgment, and take the first step to be a psychological counselor.
- b. Beauty course
- Learn about chemical knowledge of beauty and cosmetic. Make choices beauty related products at the level appropriate to yourself. It is helpful to improve skills of a beautician or beauty therapist.
- c. Food course
- Learn about nutrition and pharmacological effect. It is helpful to manage nutrition of everyday meal and improve explanation capability for customers at restaurant or food-shop.
- d. Medical Checkup course
- Learn about the main medical checkup in hospitals, its contents, average level, and suspected disorder. It is helpful to understand of medical checkup and take the first step to be a medical service worker.
- e. Medicine course
- Learn about medicinal products and biological tests. It is helpful to improve understanding of own medicine being take and medical products, and also increase explanation capability for patients or customers.
- f. Science course
- Learn about basic scientific functions of beauty/medical equipment. It is helpful to improve user’s safety, increase understanding of effect principle, and upgrade sales/explanation capability for self-productions promotion.
7. Acceptance Criteria
IATRIST Test Master IATRIST course
- IATRISM first-class
- Over score 160 out of 200 points (basic medicine 100 points and oriental medicine 100 points) and papers of all specialized subjects.
- IATRIST second-class
- Over score 120 and under 160 and papers of all specialized subjects.
IATRIST Test IATRIST course
- IATRIST third-class
- Over score 60 out of 100 points (basic medicine 50 points and oriental medicine 50 points) and papers of selected subjects.
- Pre IATRIST
- Under score 60 and papers of selected subjects.
Also, about “Mock Test for preparing medical examinations”, there is no decision to pass or fail because the purpose of the test is to check applicant’s academic performance.
8. Course materials
IATRIST Test Master IATRIST course
The questions are taken out of textbooks of IATRISM first/second classes basic medicine edition, IATRISM first/second classes specialized oriental medicine edition, and all specialized subjects for these courses.
IATRIST Test IATRIST course
The questions are taken out of the textbooks of IATRIST third-class course and all specialized subjects for the course.
Also, applicants for “Mock Test for preparing medical examinations”, this is the mock for mainly students in a medical college. Therefore, purchasing textbooks of IATRISM first/second classes is at the option of the applicants and applicants can use own textbooks even though the questions are taken out of these textbooks basic/oriental medicine and all specialized medicine course textbook.
